About me
I’ve been a Marine Engineer longer than most crew have been alive and have continued to enjoy life at Sea, and the challenges it provides, since I inadvertently joined the Royal Navy at 17, having only left the house for a pint of milk. As a consequence, I’ve sailed most of this amazing Blue planet and consider Antarctica to be the best place I’ve ever visited. I live in St. Ives, Cornwall with my Canadian wife, rescue dog (separate beings..) and am a proud father to a rambunctious 10yr old boy called Kai. In my spare time, I have no spare time, having undertaken a complete ground up renovation of my 1830’s Cornish home, which has been ongoing for the past 195 years…

Relief Position - Brought in on recommendation of 2nd Engineer, with whom I previously worked on Triple Seven. Vessel for sail so no rotation - have gone through multiple engineers in last year.
