I'm a South African girl who's recently finished my season on a 19M MY as a solo crew (deckhand, but helped inside too). It was just me and the Captain/Owner. I've gained a lot of experience whilst on board and believe I'll be a good addition to the boat. I'm always willing to learn and work hard. I've recently ended my season as a solo deck crew on a 19m MY cruising the Amalfi coast, it was just me and the Captain/Owner on board. I have previous sailing experience with 410NM done around Croatia within a week, and I just fell in love with sailing. I'm confident and experienced in basic stew work, and also very confident and experienced in deck work like; knots, line handling, anchoring and lifting procedures, passage planning and maneuvering, night watch and anchor watch, engine Inspection and preparation before departure, washdowns, deck cleaning and preventative maintenance, client briefing, charter with deck and stew service, navigation, docking and mooring, and also a charter. I've done a boss trip of 30 guests on a 30m MY, so I'm confident that I can handle anything thrown at me. I'm friendly, kind, passionate, caring, and hard-working, creative (photography & video editing), adventurous, I love animals and children and I'm also really good with them. I get along well with others and enjoy meeting new people. I work great in a team but I can also work independently if needed. I'm looking forward to learning more and gradually progress myself until I've reached my goal, all I need is the chance to prove myself. I feel like I'll be a great asset to the crew and I'm always willing to work hard and put the extra effort in and to do my best for the good of the team and clients with passion.
