Good day, Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Megan Alberts. I'm 27 years old from South Africa. I have a deep interest in triathlon and can proudly say I completed the Ironman African Championship in 2022. I got into triathlon because of my love for open water swimming and that is why I made the transition to yachting to always be near the ocean which keeps me happy. I completed my first season in Sicily last summer on a 27 meter motor yacht that was used both on heavy charters and private charters by the owner. The vessel ran with a crew of 5, where I started out as the 2nd stewardess but was promoted to chief stewardess shortly after. I graduated from university with a bachelors degree in education, specialising in high school mathematics and accounting. This field of experience proved useful with planning and provisioning in the organisation of charter as well as being able to converse with all types of guests. My greatest qualities are my unfailing good humour, my strong will to never give up and the relationships I foster with everyone around me.
