I have completed 2 seasons and a shipyard period onboard a 30m charter vessel as Deckhand/Mate in Palma, Spain, going into my 3rd season now in Palma. I also have my RYA Yacht masters Offshore. I have been in the industry for 6+ years, with over 950 skippering hours (3500Nm) in Cape Town, South Africa and 17 years of sailing experience. I fell in love with the ocean at a very young age and would love to pursue my career and grow in the maritime industry. I am well driven and suited to fit leadership roles, I would love to prove what an asset I can be to any vessel. Well-rehearsed in all aspect’s onboard vessels and usage of all water toys, I’m able and comfortable to jump in and help assist in any and all departments if/when needed. I've represented South Africa in the RS Tera worlds in Italy 2012, I have my Western Province as well as South African colours in Sailing as well as hold my colours in JKA Karate (Black belt). I have done numerous short deliveries as well. I have a love for all water sports, I’m also well-rehearsed in wakeboarding and stand-up paddling, moderate experience in Kite surfing and kayaking.
