I am a qualified deckhand with recently nearly 3 weeks experience onboard various Motor Yachts as a temporarydeckhand responsible for skills and duties including Full Washdowns, Painting, Stainless Polish, Teak Part 1 & 2,Glass Polishing and Buffing, Watchkeeping, Sanding, Corking & Navigation, Boss Preparation and Tender Care.Prior to this I carried out professional experience in Paint & Hardware working and later, in International Media& Advertising bringing a diverse skill set to the table. In addition to my professional experience, I am alsopassionate about DIY and Woodwork, and have spent a significant time growing up gaining experience in thisfield. I am always eager to learn more from those more knowledgeable and experienced than myself. I amcommitted and dedicated to a long-term and rewarding future within the yachting industry. As a Business Administration and Marketing graduate with experience in international media, I am writing to express my interest in the long-term deckhand position on your private/charter motor yacht I am writing to express my interest in the Deckhand role currently available on your motor/super yacht. As someone who has always had a passion for the sea and a desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, I believe that I am a suitable fit for this position. I am also proficient in knot tying, navigation, and basic maintenance tasks. While I do not have extensive experience working on a yacht. I am a quick learner and am confident that I will be able to adapt to the demands of the role.
