About me
A self-motivated, organised and creative Head Chef with extensive experience on large, medium , small sized motor yachts and luxury Cruise liners. I have a significant passion for creating not just beautiful dishes but culinary experiences, from sourcing high quality ingredients and local delicacies to immaculately executed dishes of fine dining quality. I have an in-depth understanding of the Hospitality Industry with regards to client-supplier liaison, F&B/event management, special menu creation well as logistic coordination in and outside the galley. I have experience with a wide variety of special dietary preferences and see these as a welcomed challenge to expand my culinary knowledge – not a burden. I want to commit myself to creating exciting menus and implementing full flavoured, clean cooking techniques on a private/ charter yacht with extensive travel and longevity prospects. Through my own personal culinary journey, I have gained authentic experience in various interesting and different cooking styles. I enjoy incorporating my own personal experiences as well as collaborating with other chefs in the kitchen. I use local, fresh and high end produce in my dishes. After much time spent in and around the world, I have become confident sourcing and communicating with local provisioners, to ensure the highest quality ingredients are provided and used to create local delicacies with a fine dining flair. I am passionate about my career and the industry, I display this passion and pride in every dish that I create.
