I am a young professional in the maritime industry and I am looking to expand my experience in the maritime sector. I have experience on many different kinds of vessels and have a good understanding of a vessel's processes and routines. This also gives me a good understanding of your possible needs and wants. I believe I could be a useful asset to your team and my experience and skills would be well suited for the work. I bring with me knowledge, good social and mediation skills, professional manners, experience working in an international environment and firm determination. I have a calm and steady manner and can handle pressure well. I have worked primarily on vessels with English as the working language and mixed crew. I love work that challenges me and that can teach me continuously about new things. I have a good understanding of mechanical machinery and computers and also a good understanding of navigational procedures and equipment. If I stumble upon a component or subject I do not know enough about, I will study up on and familiarise myself with the subject. I am a firm believer in the KIS (keep it simple) principle and do not like to over complicate matters unnecessarily. This Principle allows streamlining and makes sure there are no needless complications or tangents on a project. It also helps to keep the end goal in sight when you are not distracted on unnecessary matters. I am active in the Finnish naval reserve, Suomenlinna Coastal artillery guild and MPK. I have worked as an instructor, boat driver, museum guide and general volunteer with these organisations.
