I am a conscientious, organized, tidy and dedicated professional devoted to a yachting career. I am able to adapt quickly to new working environments. Patient and diplomatic, I relate easily with any person at any level on board. I have the potential to work under pressure, independently or in close relation within the crew and the initiative, self-motivation and organizational skills to function independently. I started my yachting carrier when I joined The Sea Cadet Corps in 1996, learning basic seamanship and dinghy racing until 2003. During my sailing tenure I won various medals in national and international events for the country and was also awarded “The Most Promising Yachtsman Of The Year” in 1999. In 2004 I received the “Special Award To Medal Winner In International Sports Events” by Ministry of Sports and “The Top State Award” by the Governor of Maharashtra, India in 2008. With my good racing skills and leadership qualities I was elected as a Team INDIA Coach for optimist class from 2006 to 2008 for the World Championships and Asian Championship. In this time period The Indian Team won various medals for the country. Yachting has been my life for ten years now so I have adapted to this lifestyle but interested to further my knowledge and keen to progress therefore I am seeking a position on either a private or charter yacht as a Chief Officer/2nd Officer/Bosun. I’d like to work in a professional and friendly environment and also develop new skills. If given a chance, as usual, I will serve to the best of my ability to keep the highest standards required.
