I am a highly experienced sailor with over 12 years on the water and 8 years working as a sailing instructor. Originally from Sydney, Australia, I hold Swiss, Australian, and British nationalities, and have grown up surrounded by the ocean, developing a lifelong passion for boats and seamanship. My sailing background is rooted in competitive dinghy racing, where I achieved success in the 29er class and had the opportunity to represent my country. Alongside racing, I discovered a strong passion for teaching and began instructing at a young age, starting as an assistant instructor at 12. After two years of volunteering, I obtained my Dinghy Instructor qualification and have since gained extensive experience coaching sailors of all levels. I also hold a Coxswain Grade 1 certification, which has enabled me to work in commercial maritime environments. My time in marine rescue further strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, assist vessels in distress, and prioritize safety at all times. In addition to my time on the water, I have a strong mechanical interest and hands-on experience working on engines, regularly maintaining and repairing cars and motorcycles. This practical skillset, combined with my sailing and teaching background, allows me to contribute effectively in both deck and engineering roles onboard. I am hardworking, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a genuine passion for the yachting industry and a commitment to continuously developing my skills.
