I am seeking a Deckhand position where I can enhance my skills, work ethic and knowledge to progress within the yachting industry. I'm incredibly passionate about customer service, and although I don't yet have yachting experience I have been in the customer service/hospitality industry for many years and with that in my background, I believe it makes me a perfect candidate to join a yacht crew. I joined the Sea Cadet Corps at the age of 12 which allowed me to gain many qualifications and experience onboard both motor and sailing vessels as well as finding my passion of being on the water. From doing this I have gained ropework and rigging experience, line handling, towing and knowledge at sea. I am excited to start my career so I have the opportunity to combine my previous experience, my skill set and my interests in a new challenging environment. I am a quick learner and take instructions well to ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. I enjoy working in a team environment as it allows me to build professional relationships that will also help in the day to day work.
