I have always had a natural passion for engineering, mechanics and understanding how things work. From a young age, anything technical has captured my interest, and that curiosity has developed into a career that I genuinely enjoy. I take great satisfaction from problem-solving, fault finding and continually developing my knowledge, particularly within marine engineering and technically challenging environments. Away from work, I am very much a family man. I have a four-year-old son back home who is a huge source of motivation for me. A large part of my drive to progress professionally and personally comes from wanting to show him what can be achieved through hard work, determination and making the most of the opportunities available in life. I enjoy keeping active and spend much of my spare time training in the gym, hiking, walking and swimming. I also have a strong background in competitive sport and am proud to have achieved the title of World Champion in skiff rowing. Outside of engineering and fitness, I have a keen interest in motorsport and particularly enjoy following Formula 1. I am naturally driven, practical and always looking for the next challenge, whether that involves developing a new technical skill, improving myself physically or experiencing something new. I'm very open and honest and will be straight to anyone i meet, i like to think I'm fun, easy going and easy to get along with, stress free under pressure.
