About me
Bosun on M/Y Vellmari (48m, Rossinavi) since April 2026. I started on Vellmari as a deckhand in the 2023 season, then spent December 2023 to September 2025 as one of four deckhands on M/Y Kaiser (60m, Abeking & Rasmussen, world-wide cruising). The same Captain brought me back to Vellmari in 2026 to run the deck. Maintenance is my strongest side: paint and fairing, varnish and brightwork, teak, gelcoat and corrosion control, including yard periods. As Bosun I run the daily deck routine, drive the tender and train the newer deckhands. On Kaiser I stood anchor and night watches and drove a 12m jet RIB and a prop limo tender. Boats were my work in a marina long before yachting. German native; English, Italian and French fluent. EU passport, based in Nice. Working toward my Yachtmaster this winter. Available from 16 October 2026.
