About me
I am looking for a permanent or rotational position on a motor or sailing vessel. All my certificates are up to date : B1/B2 , ENG 1 , OOW , Chief Mate 3000 gt , STCW. I have very good longevity where I worked with the same captain for many years on three different yachts. I am described as a hard working person with a positive and determined attitude. I also have solid sailing experience and I'm keen to get busy once again on a motor or sailing yacht. My aim is to demonstrate a conscientious work ethic and a passion for exceeding assigned tasks. I take direction well and I work efficiently.
Work experience
Bosun/Skipper (Full time) at 21m Sailing Boat
June 2014 - November 2016 (2 years 5 mons 29 days)
Working on this private sailing vessel, I had the opportunity to experience skippering the yacht alongside with the owner. Throughout this time I was responsible for all maintenance onboard.
Deckhand (Full time) at 27m Sailing Boat
July 2017 - November 2017 (4 mons 29 days)
I cruised the Med on this Private Yacht where I gained experience on water sports equipment. I also had the chance to do a OWD PADI and Nitrox Diver PADI qualifications.
1st Mate (Full time) at 44m Motor Yacht
February 2018 - July 2020 (2 years 5 mons 29 days)
I started on board as Deckhand and moved up to Mate on this luxury private motor yacht where I cruised the Med in the summer and refit in Mallorca in the winter.
