I was employed in the South African Police Service and acquired extensive operational and investigative skills. I also have more than five years’ experience in responding to and investigating crime allegations at sea; managing security personnel, and contractors. In my role as a Royal Security Officer at Royal Caribbean International, I was one of two security supervisors who were ask to start this fast pace position for Royal Caribbean International out of more than 1000 security personnel. I was doing good and was soon due for promotion to Deputy Security Officer before Covid Struck. I was also part of a new build start-up security team on SYMPHONY OF THE SEAS, back then, the Largest Cruise Ship in the world with and her Maiden Voyage from Barcelona in 2018. Myself and team moved daily more than 8 000 passengers and crew on and off the vessel maintaining high standards and with great success.
