I am a qualified Marine Engineer currently serving as a 3rd Engineer / Watchkeeping Officer with TORM Shipping, with previous experience on product tankers and approximately 25 months of product tanker sea time. I hold a Class IV Certificate of Competency (STCW III/1) and have hands-on experience with engine-room watchkeeping, operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery, generators, pumps, compressors and other essential shipboard systems. My tanker experience has developed my strong approach to safety, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and working effectively as part of a professional engineering team. I am now looking to transition into the luxury yacht sector and believe a motor yacht would be an excellent opportunity to bring my commercial marine engineering experience into a new and challenging environment. I am highly motivated to learn yacht-specific operations and standards, adapt quickly to a different style of vessel and contribute positively to the engineering team.
