About me
My name is Svitlana, I’m a Ukrainian stewardess, looking for a job as a 2nd or Service Stewardess on a yacht, could also be rotational between housekeeping/service. I have 5 years experience on motor yachts (private, charter) with different lengths (from 40 till 117 meters). Working during many years in hospitality, I acquired habits that help me to do my best in my position as a stewardess. On my mind I’m a people person, but can be shy at the first. I enjoy working in a team, meeting new interesting people and prefer to do whatever it takes to finish tasks, even if it needs working longer hours. During the Covid I had such an interesting experience: we were closed on the yacht (request of the owner) during 9 months, without going out on a land, staying all the time on anchor, with the same crew and guests in a small area, working every day without days off and I didn’t hurt or kill anyone. So I could definitely say that I’m stress-resistant, patient, well-balanced person who could work hard. Always happy to gain knowledge and learn from a professional Chief Stew. I’m responsible and serious in the working process, but could have fun and joke when it is time and place for it. I have experience in different types of service, such as buffet, family style, plated and silver service. Can do different non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, teas, healthy juices, lemonades), alcoholic cocktails, basic wine knowledge, knowledge of napkin folding, flower arrangement, experienced in housekeeping, Interior detailing and organization, Laundry care, Wardrobe Management, Provisioning, Budgeting and Inventorying. Have experience in ordering and purchasing crew uniform. Shipyard experience, Charter experience.
