I am an active, friendly, cheerful, organised, hardworking individual with a sense of humour who has a great passion for the sea and working in the maritime industry. Sailing dinghies kick started my passion for the water at a young age, which then opened the door to other sports such as stand up paddle boarding and windsurfing which have become great hobbies of mine. I am always keen to be busy and learn new skills. When the pandemic began, I was just completing my 6th form studies and I took the opportunity to immediately take on temporary employment for the duration of lockdown. When between positions, I have undertaken voluntary work; assisting with youth RYA dinghy training and learning the basics of floor laying whilst labouring for a local tradesman. I am now keen to begin my career as a deckhand as soon as I have completed the UKSA crew course (end April 23).
