About me
Two years equating to three seasons of onboard experience, I am well-versed in both exterior and interior operations. As a Deckhand, I participated in wash downs, sika restoration, teak maintenance, stainless and paint polishing, refuelling, sea trials, boat show preparations, watches, and docking procedures where I was responsible for calling distances and line handling on the stern, using both manual techniques and machinery. As a stewardess, I am confident in all realms of interior. Due to having worked aboard 18m, 25m, 35m, 38m, and 90m yachts in dual roles as Deckhand and Stewardess, I gained valuable cross-departmental skills and become accustomed to fast-paced, demanding schedules whether it be completing a season of 13 back to back charters in a dual role or serving on a charter vessel accommodating 45 guests in destinations like Antarctica conversing with infinite guests of various calibers. Beyond the industry, I’ve spent the past eight years immersed in recreational boating—riding jet skis, engaging in water sports, and often serving as the designated water sports photographer. This hands-on exposure has fuelled my growing interest in marine engines and diving, and I plan to pursue my Yachtmasters Offshore qualification, Pilates instructors, and diving instructors in the near future.
