With more than a seasons experience onboard vessels in the year of 2024, I have been able to learn a great deal of knowledge alongside my peers. My six months of working on a 47m vessel in a shipyard located in Turkey equipped me with vast amounts of new skillsets and understanding of my duties onboard. Day-to-day I completed numerous tasks alongside my Lead Deckhand or Bosun that helped in accelerating the refit process of the yacht. I also worked alongside the Chief Engineer to repaint and put back together all the parts. I started off in the industry the start of last year on a 21m vessel joined only by the captain and learnt the realistic duties of a deckhand before I moved on to a bigger challenge. I have an extreme love for the water and chose to do yachting as my career path at an early age, I believe I can fit and make it work in any team environment. I am eager to move up the chain of command and further my qualifications over the years.
