Dear Sirs., My aim is to find a dual Stew-Nurse position, on a vessel that requires an onboard medical professional. With a plethora of nursing skills acquired during my extensive University training, work in nursing homes, at several national and international hospitals, medical centers and also onboard, I see myself as a competent candidate for any nursing position that may arise. Specialist in medical geriatric care and emergency room situations. With various seasons on board I have acquired security and safety at sea training, working under seasoned Captains and Chief Officers leadership. I hold a profound understanding and respect for the chain of command on board a professional vessel. Punctual, proactive, meticulous, comitted, caring, with a warm personality and a top not appearance, I am able to follow instructions from my Head of Department and I’m content performing any task assigned to me with a humble attitude and a sincere smile. I am Spanish mother tongue, fluent in English and Italian and I hold my own in French. I got my ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certificate last year. On November 2024 I obtained my "Proficiency in Medical First aid" and the "Proficiency in Medical Care aboard ships" certificates, which I considered a future investment in the industry. I also got my B1-B2 and C1-D visas valid for 10 years. I'm willing to take care of the crew and guests' health and to teach CPR and first aid courses, as safety comes first; everyone can be first redponder in case of an emergency and I want my crew to feel confident doing so.
