I am a deckhand and dive instructor with 8 months experience onboard a busy 30 meter charter vessel in the Bahamas. As a scuba diver I have well over 700 dives and am extremely comfortable in guiding and briefing up to 18 guests. During my time onboard my last vessel I was the lead dive guide of a team of 3 and in charge of receiving orders from my HOD and making sure the orders were completed to the correct standard. I am a highly driven, energetic, positive, hard-working, fast learning and athletic individual. I grew up on the coast with parents who were both in the yachting industry which developed my passion and love for the ocean from a young age. I spent most of my youth in the water surfing, fishing or diving or on the sports field playing team sports. I am very sociable and well educated in a multicultural environment. I am currently seeking a position as a deckhand/dive instructor on board a motor/sail yacht in any location. Preferably a yacht with a strong dive program and active crew. I am seeking a permanent or rotational position in order to gain longevity and further my career by moving up the ranks on deck as I am aiming to complete my Yachtmaster Offshore once I have looked my remaining miles.
