I am a young and upcoming deckhand from South Africa, eager to dive into the business of Yachting with full force. I did my training in Cape Town at the Super Yachting South Africa (SYSA) in all the essentials of potentially becoming an excellent deckhand. My CV is attached to give more detail on the above, but I do wish for the opportunity to prove my added value that one cannot put on a CV. That is the ability to apply my mind to problem solving. To adjust to new environments and assess the needs of passengers and fellow crew members. These skills I learned in my years in boarding school where it is essential to get along with different types of personalities and living in shared spaces. In my short periods exposed to working I learned the importance of understanding the needs of customers and how to effectively meet their needs. I am confident that I will be an asset to a crew, being easy going, open minded and I grasp the importance of group efforts and my position in one. In a conscious effort not to bombard you with attachments on first contact, I have not sent my certificates listed in my CV but will be happy to do so.
