About me
My name is Tim Roszak and I am a Australian qualified chef and yacht chef. After being in the super yacht industry and travelling the globe now for 8 years I feel my knowledge and skillset have vastly grown since day one and now am ready to tackle any situation with confidence. As well as working on 80 mt size vessels and being a sole chef on a heavy private/charter 55mt with 13 crew and 12 guests along with my land experience has taught me how to deliver high end quality food to guests and crew while being cost effective and time efficient. Most recently, I was employed as a Sole Chef for two years on a heavy private 55mt with 13 crew 12 -20 guests and cook for four labradors. Prior to this, I worked dual seasons on both charter and private yachts, as well as temping on 90mt vessels. This has enhanced my knowledge of cuisines and range of experience. My menus primarily focus on clean eating with a bit of fun. I can also incorporate many other dietary requirements as I feel it is a necessity to have that in your daily repertoire. I work closely with Chief Stew to create eye catching menus and an atmosphere to be enjoyed. My food is delicious, healthy and fun, presents well, I listen to what the client wants and create a fun hard working team environment as I collaborate eye catching menus and an energetic atmosphere with the chief stew to leave guests wanting more Working alongside a sous chef gives us the opportunity to bring our galley together and create some amazing dishes, from fresh pasta to sushi, just to name a few things. I also enjoy making bread daily. Whilst being the leader in the galley and to set example for younger crew and peers crew makes me want to explore with my food, flavours, and presentation, to reach out to everyone including and understanding what owners/ guest want and sticking to their needs. I mostly enjoy the pressure of working on Charter boats as it can feel like a restaurant kitchen. I am a people person and I genuinely enjoy interacting and helping others.
