After graduating from a general engineering school, I started my career as a Quality & continuous improvement engineer for 2 years. In those different positions, I gained a lot of pragmatism and experience in problem solving. Because working in highly technical fields (aeronautics and automotive) leaves a low margin for error, I had to develop my analysis skills to be able to come up with the best solution in a short time frame. As a representative of customer satisfaction, I put this aspect at the top of my priorities. Being a continuous improvement leader, I also had to be proactive in order to enhance our working habits and avoid doing the same mistakes twice. In April 2019, I decided to put my career on hold to achieve one of my dreams and attended a 3 months divemaster / research diver internship with Indo Ocean Project in Nusa-Penida. I learnt a lot about marine biology but also about another aspect of customer relations. This internship evolved into a research assistant/divemaster position in a busy dive shop for another 5 months. The pandemic that we went through last year forced me to step away from the ocean for a while. That's when I heard about yachting. I decided to get my dive instructor certificate and try my luck to become a deckhand and eventually evolve towards an engineer position. On a more personal aspect, I am an energic and hard working person. I tend to always be in a good mood which is why I really look forward working with a crew.
