I completed my sea-time as deck cadet on commercial vessels and just obtained my certificate of competency, OOW unlimited. I firstly worked on container ship and then on passenger vessel. I am now seeking for an opportunity in the yacht industry. I got experience in watch keeping, reports, general paper work, safety procedures and maintenance of firefighting systems and equipment, tender operations, guest service, tank and general maintenance, wash downs, mooring operations, marine communications, well familiar with procedures, drills, advanced fire-fighting, no restriction for polar waters. I also confortable with line handling and mooring operation. I have been working on mooring station, forward and aft, operating the winches at times and handling lines at other times as well and also on some opportunities I had been responsible for the station doing communication via UHF with the bridge. I am good tender driver due o the fact that I had been working as skipper in south portugal in charge of 6m lenght motorboat doing tourism service and also in Lisbon, doing the same job but on motorboat 10m lenght. My hands are not only on deck, I am also able and interested and assist the navigation and watches. Moreover, I am always about to keep my motivation high and responsibilities onboard. I am capable of fluently communicating and writing in the English language, basic Spanish and native Portuguese. Just in addition, I would like to express my interest in water sports such as surfing, wake boarding and swimming. When it comes to shore, I am into biking, hiking, and bouldering. I am willing to embrace this rolling project! fully committed, friendly demeanor towards crew and guests and yes to do man (flexible person and hardworking seafarer).
