I am an experienced professional with a passion for AV, IT, electronics, and automation within the maritime industry. With a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, I have gained valuable experience working in various roles that emphasise my expertise in these areas. Throughout my maritime career, I have served as a Chief Technical Officer and ETO/AVIT Officer on luxury yachts ranging from 86 meters to 104 meters in length, then as an Comm/AVIT HoD on 300m Cruise Ship. In these positions, I have been responsible for overseeing, maintaining and troubleshooting the AV/IT systems, network infrastructure, safety systems (FDS, PA, CCTV), bridge, communication and automation controls onboard. By staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in marine technology, I continuously strive to improve myself in those fields. In addition to my maritime experience, I have 13 years of shore-based expertise in software development, having worked for Siemens GmbH and Lemna Grupa. In these roles, I have contributed to the development of Smart Card operating systems, with a focus on data security and performance. I have also gained a deep understanding of cybersecurity tools and technologies, enhancing the resilience of software systems in marine environments.
